So, yeah-- Ben with baby, afterbirth trying not to slip in his wife’s blood (or the blood from the afterbirth he’s got in one hand-- man, that thing is a horror show!) I think the story is trying to show how smart and resourceful Ben is and how strong Candy is. Instead it shows how full of shit the both of them are. ---
