ISTR Marco Rubio saying on one of the evening talk shows awhile back that he would have offered Iran _nothing_ in exchange for the release of prisoners, and that Iran would have taken the deal because he would have “shown leadership” or “made America look strong” or some rot. So the idea that Republicans would ask Iran to help them win an election in exchange for absolutely nothing of interest or benefit to them doesn’t sound odd to me at all. ---

I don’t know that it’s a stupid idea, but it’s hilarious, so this seems like a good place. The Republican head of the Senate banking committee is [running ads against Wall Street](http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/gop-banking-ally-borrows-page-sanders-playbook), and naming particular companies. Maybe he could use his position to hold hearings and perhaps introduce legislation? ---

Wait, “I’m a CHRISTIAN now AND a CONSERVATIVE” doesn’t mean that GOD has forgiven all her past sins and she can be their hero now? But… But… That clearly works for cheating on your spouses, having affairs, stealing money, fraud, etc, etc. So how come it isn’t working for her??? ---

The woman in the pulled Cruz ad is being made to look like an actual porn star, when she basically did “softcore”, which doesn’t involve _actual_ sex. Better they should have pulled the ad because she’d done an episode of ST:Voyager. ---
