[Jim Webb’s](http://www.salon.com/2016/04/25/jim_webbs_embarrassing_defense_of_andrew_jackson_he_committed_genocide_to_protect_native_americans_from_themselves/) argument for keeping Andrew Jackson on the front of the $20: Jackson only removed the Indians to protect them. Senator, at a time when the GOP is struggling hard to equate today’s Democratic Party with the racist pre-civil-rights-movement version and to discredit it on those grounds, you are now **defending** one of an old-school Democrat’s worst acts of racism. Step back and take a look at the big picture here. ---
