The Texas GOP may want to reconsider thier stance on education. Surprisingly, the governor of Oklahoma has vetoed the bill that would cause doctors to be unable to get or renew a medical license (and face up to 3 years in prison) for performing abortions. The bill, she explained, is written too vague to be enforceable. I have the pet theory that in many conservative states these kinds of lawsuits are in reality job programs for the lawyer golf buddies of the governors. It does not matter if they win or not, they will get a cut of the government’s money. While job programs for the poor or other job training efforts will be cut. ---

Not quite fair. The reporter apparently did not know which questions Mr. Trump would have preferred to be asked. Mr. Trump graciously answered those questions as if they _had_ been asked, thereby saving everyone a lot of embarrassment. Mr. Trump has every reason to be cautious, just as he says, “…I’ve been treated very, very badly by The _Washington Post_…”, so, really, its a wonder he extends them such courteous treatment! Its true that some will find it odd that he answers a question of foreign policy by examing the relative quality of various airport facilities, but that is the mark of his exceptional…nay, _unique!_… point of view!
