Dear Omnipotent Deity I don’t believe in: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! We’ve been good. We’ve eaten all our vegetables (well, not the beets. Those are gross). We walked the dog. We didn’t hit our sister (hard). Please let us have Texit for Christmas. ---

The wife of Governor Paul LePage just announced that she’s taken a job as a waitress because his $70,000 a year salary isn’t enough for them to make ends meet. I understand that his salary is the lowest of any governor, but don’t they live rent-free in the Governor’s Mansion? And just what is the cost of living in Maine? I assume this is a political stunt to show all of those freeloaders on SNAP that they just need to get a job. ---
