It says what you already knew. The NC legislative Goppers were blatant about suppressing the black vote specifically, with the “fraud prevention” stuff being just a ruse. ---

Geez, that’s like my asshole gaming buddy who defriended me last month. He’d spout racist bullshit or political lies and then when called on it, his response was always to claim that he didn’t care about it, he was just saying something. Which was pretty much a knee-jerk response meaning “I want to say it, I just don’t want to defend it.” Now we have a major political party doing the same crap. ---
