Global warming and the ensuing glacial melting and rise in sea level is all God’s will, so it would be sacrilegious for the navy to plan for it. After all, the [Prophet Isaiah decreed](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+2:4) that: “God shall judge between the nations, and shall decide for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more.” Who are the Religious Right Republicans to stand in the way of God destroying their ability to wage war? ---

Breitbart, complaining that the liberal media is downplaying the number of people attending Trump rallies, posted a picture of a huge crowd at a Trump rally in Florida. No, apparently the Chamber _passed the bill with those amendments_, leaving it to the Senate to demonstrate sanity. ---

Trump campaigned in dark blue Maine today, where the recent polls showed him losing by 17 points. Why Maine? Rachel Maddow said Hillary has stopped funding ads in Virginia, she is so confident of victory there. ---

Trump will be campaigning in Wisconsin tomorrow. Priebus, who is from Wisconsin, Paul Ryan, who is from Wisconsin, and the Senator up for reelection and the right wing governor of Wisconsin have decided not to attend his rally. ---

According to an article in the local fishwrap, he’s going to be campaigning in deepest, bluest Washington (state) in late August or early September. According to his deputy campaign director, Trump considers the state “in play” and “will be coming to rally the troops.” Best of luck with that, Donald. (I seem to recall him saying that New York and California will be in play as well. Does the man actually enjoy pissing money away, at least when it’s someone else’s money?)
