I don’t think Trump decides where to go based on effective political tactics, I think he goes where he expects people to show up and cheer. Which is why he thinks he’s winning, because people show up and cheer for him when he simply “speaks his mind”. That’s how he knows that the polls are lying and/or wrong. Because listen to all those cheering people! They love him! And they will keep on loving him if he is honest and forthright, which for him means saying whatever pops into his head. And if he follows the intelligent and mature advice of his intelligent and mature advisers, his speeches will become dull, normal, and mature. And the frantic flow of juice from the crowd will taper off, he will be like Dr. House with one less Vicodin than he’s used to. And probably won’t work. Any downturn, however slight, he will figure its because he isn’t being authentic, not true to his glorious nature, he will revert to form, the crowd will go wild, once again, and…winning! ---
