Well, that reminded me that I am so glad I finally got off my dead ass and cancelled the lifetime NRA membership I had from the late 80’s. Hadn’t been costing me a cent of course and I kept holding out some hope that sanity would return, but finally cancelled it this spring. Now I don’t have to receive all those post cards, emergency fundraising mailings and magazines telling me how various Democrats are going to destroy my guns. ---
