[Curt Schilling](http://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2016/08/16/curt-schilling-politics-senate-elizabeth-warren) wants to run against Elizabeth Warren for the U.S. Senate. Let’s see: he’s a bigoted, racist asshole. He’s dumb as a bag of hammers. He’s an expert on wasting tax-payer money (suck it, Rhode Island.) I have no idea where he stands on climate change, but it’s almost a certainty that (if even knows what it is) he is a denier. He’s the perfect GOP candidate! ---

The bloody sock game was one of the great displays of mental and physical toughness in sports history. I’m a bloody sock denier. 😛 I’m a Yankees fan and long time Schilling hater (I haven’t forgotten 2001 either) but even I will admit that he is a hall of famer (as long as Mussina goes in first.) Boston should have gotten stuck with A-Rod too. The curse would probably still be in place. ---

Meh. Boston went through much of the same shit, as well as much of the same glory, with Manny Ramirez that New York did with Rodriguez. What’s a bloody sock denier? Somebody who thinks a trainer painted it on with mercurochrome? ---

Yes, but after the debates, Trump’s (and by extension, Ailes’s) performance is going to be judged by the pundits at Fox News. Did he leave behind any enemies who might be inclined to judge him harshly, and who don’t have to suck up to the boss anymore? ---

The best candidate for the job is a man who thinks the women in his company aren’t really people, just sexual toys for him to use? Seriously? Trump just had the sexual harassment statement debacle, where is own daughter rolled her eyes and gave one of least convincing defenses I have ever heard. (to be fair to her, it was an impossible sell) It’s like he doesn’t want women to vote for him. Hell, even they wanted his special brand of slimy expertise, they could have gotten it without an announcement to the press.
