I never thought I’d ever see Colin Powell in this thread, let alone my pitting him, but here we go. [Powell is complaining that the Hillary campaign is blaming him for suggesting she get a private server, even though as recently as two months ago, he told an author that he did suggest it.](http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/8/22/1562889/-Colin-Powell-suddenly-forgets-a-conversation-he-remembered-quite-well-back-in-June?detail=facebook) I was puzzled when I read that Powell was upset about the Clintons suggesting that he had recommended it to her, because I was sure I had remembered reading that he had, in fact, done that. ---

I liked the rest of that sentence from the article: _…Root fumed, saying that **everything that white males like him believe in** has been “under massive attack in the United States of America for the last 50 years, but particularly, the last eight years of Barack Obama.”_ Mr. Root, you appear to be saying that the fundamental thing you believe in is that white males like you should be in charge of everything, own everything, and control everyone. That does not speak well for your character. ---

I’M a middle-class, middle-aged white male and I remember back in the GOOD OLD DAYS I could just point at a random woman on the street and she would drop to her knees and give me oral. At the same time a random African-American would shine my shoes. And a random Mexican-American would run to my house to prune the rose bushes. THANKS, OBAMA ---
