But, I think Clinton should be careful about how many other Americans she insults. Making it us vs. them, and the cool kids vs. the losers doesn’t seem the healthiest way to win. Don’t vote for Trump or you’re a racist loser. How about trying to win over more Americans instead of writing them off and making fun of them. Liberals have become rather elitist and smug. I understand what you’re saying but I think you’re way off-base with how the general public will react to this because I think you’re reacting to what you think she said rather than what she said. The people she called out are never going to vote for Mrs. Clinton and are already engaged in “us vs. them” behaviours. She isn’t trying to win over those voters because they cannot be swayed. Her comments don’t write off anyone not already written off. And she didn’t make fun of people or ridicule anyone; not sure where that comment of yours came from TBH. ---

As I pointed in another thread, not talking about what is happening with the Republican party is playing in what the xenophobes, bigots and racists want to do. Normalizing them and their ideas into the political mainstream. That is IMHO what Romney was talking about when he commented that Trump was going to make “Trickle down racism” a thing in America.
