Did he really? I don’t recall that particular dollop of crapola emanating much from him, I remember hearing it from Paul Wolfowitz once, but I don’t recall it ever having a central place in the mosaic of horseshit. And you can be pretty sure Mr. Fattman is getting all mavericky, the Party leadership doesn’t want anyone, anywhere, for any reason, talking about the I-word. Unless you can figure out a way to blame it on Obama. ---

Anybody who lays money on Congressman Steve King, that howling Northwest Iowa, insular, parochial, angry old white guy, knee jerk narcissistic reactionary hay seed, apologizing for anything is going to lose his money. My only regret is that the latest Gerrymander of Congressional Districts still does not allow me to vote against him. ---

[Our boy Mitt Romney demonstrates his concern and understanding of the jobs problem, and thinks it a joke.](http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/06/16/romney-im-also-unemployed/) He may be the most moderate member of of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs but he need to think a bit before he just says stuff. I’m sure that the chronically unemployed hundreds of former Maytag employees over in Newton, Iowa, will chuckle at the thought that the ex-Gov of Mass. is in solidarity with them in their struggle. ---

Meh. It was a joke. If he was truly trying to say something like “buck up, bucky o. I understand you, for I too know the plight of no-paycheck and have had it just as hard as you. But you pull yourself up by your short sleveed dress shirts and put your Bible to the grindstone and get to work!” there might be an issue. But, no. It was just a joke (that people laughed at) before I’m sure he gave his real answer that no one bothered to quote. ---
