Soldier worship IS tiresome though. It _should_ be possible to criticize a vet and not have your own patriotism called into question even if your wrong. ---

I want to point out that the article in no way establishes that they were asked, and I want to stress _asked_, to stop the PDA. Not the gay PDA, just the PDA. It is not established that they were targeted because they were gay and the restaurant denies it. Frankly, I don’t want to see anyone grope anyone while I’m trying to eat in public. “Get a room, you two.” Also, this is the Stupid Republican Idea Of The Day thread, and we don’t have even a hint of this being because someone, anyone, was a Republican. If you can establish that this happened because they were gay, regardless of Republican-specific influence, I’ll be happy to jump on the outrage bandwagon, but you’ve failed to bring it with this one, **Askthepizzaguy**. ---
