To be clear: defending alleged scum isn’t the problem. Successfully defending scum that is known to be scum who committed the crime they’re accused of then running on a tough on crime/safe families platform is the problem. Not to mention stupid. ---

Because it’s such a losing proposition for the thrice-married Trump, who throws away his wives like tissues to get a younger model every 10 years or so. All Hillary has to do is to point out that she, as a Christian, takes her marriage vows very seriously. Her relationship with her husband is stronger than it’s ever been.
