[South Dakota Legislature Ethics Panel defeats rule prohibiting any sexual contact with legislative interns or pages.](http://www.argusleader.com/story/news/politics/2017/01/11/lawmakers-vote-against-barring-sexual-contatct-interns/96448914/) And they didn’t even have the guts to vote against it – instead they voted to defer it until the day after the legislative session ends. They claimed it was already prohibited under another rule, but that other rule prohibits ‘sexual harassment’, not just sexual contact, and only a member of the legislature can report violations, not the intern or page. ---
