Texas state representative Tony Tinderholt is trying to [make abortion a felony in Texas](https://www.texasobserver.org/new-bill-aims-make-abortion-felony-texas/). A side-effect of turning women who have had abortions and doctors who perform them into felons would also prevent the women and doctors from being able to vote. ---
