It’s statements like this that make it hard for my wife to convince my gay son that he should stay in Missouri.

Just wait for the pattern to play out. When a right-wing politician reveals that he devotes so much of his limited thought process to Teh Gay, it’s only a matter of time before somebody captures him and his luggage-lifter on camera.

More from Derplahoma.

Employees fresh off the bus from corporate headquarters to protest/lobby against an increase in the gas/oil gross production tax. **Paid protesters** obviously per Agent Orange, whoa, except these are pushing the Republican agenda so this must be okay. [Continental Resources sent Hamm Lemmings to protest at the Capitol... - The Lost Ogle](https://www.thelostogle.com/2017/05/19/continental-resources-sent-hamm-lemmings-to-protest-at-the-capitol/)

Continental Resources CEO Harold Hamm is a big Trump booster, advisor, and contributor.

Oklahoma is desperately short of money in the budget and has cut services and education for several years [school weeks shortened to 4 days, teachers without any type of raise for nearly a decade, school closures, deferred road/bridge maintenance to point of collapse, etc…].

But why raise the production tax, it’ll hurt the industry? The oil lobby got the tax cut from 7% to 2% a few years back (a few billion in profits). Sane politicians and oil men have advocated raising the tax back to the average rate for neighboring states. [George Kaiser has a logical, reasonable plan to tackle the state budget crisis... - The Lost Ogle](https://www.thelostogle.com/2017/05/16/george-kaiser-has-a-logical-reasonable-plan-to-tackle-the-state-budget-crisis/)

And just two days ago, the oil and gas industry held a party for state legislators to celebrate a failure to pass a budget and to remind the paid stooges to stand pat against any attempt to raise the production tax.

So I’d like to see how [Robert S.] Mueller [III] is going to define what his assignment is.”

It would be interesting if someone leaked Bob Mueller’s opinion of Newt Gingrich.

Also, how about the heads of the 17 US intelligence agencies who determined it was the Russians–what might they have to say to Mr. G about his little theory? That, too, would be interesting.

Texas has always had a stick-your-chest-out brand of conservatism but I remember a time not long ago when Lone Star politicians were still relatively sane. But I am beginning to think that Gov. Abbot has come down with rabies – he makes Rick Perry look like a damn statesman. I know some people hate Texas but it’s actually a cool state with good people and it’s sad to think that it is being hijacked by kooks and infected with the same virulent strain of conservatism that has destroyed Kansas and will destroy Oklahoma.

They already did it, ya jackass. Glad we’re bringing up these monuments, white supremacy, and lynching. It makes it clear where you stand, and that you should be planted in Mar-A-Lago’s sinkhole instead.
