An audience member? Sounds like a plant.

Although, they might be THIS candidate’s enemy, because they reported on this:

By that reasoning, you don’t get to call any poster’s statement stupid (or imply that it is stupid) unless you’ve lived a life like each one of them, amirite?

The nattering elites who think they know what the poor need are _the President and the HUD Secretary_.

This particular mistake was a crime. What he should do is plead guilty.

Not sure what will happen though. The Sheriff in charge of the investigation is a campaign contributor. If I body-slammed the candidate, I would looking at 5 to 10 in the pokey.

Not only did Jesus insist that people “render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s”, but St Paul was pretty specific on the subject of taxes as well:

> [@Romans 13](#):
>
> 1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
> 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
> 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,
> 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.
> 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience.
> **6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
> 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.**

So pay your taxes or be smoten!

Frogs! Fiery hail! Locusts! Oh My!

I noticed that the article mentions that the ark was designed by the man who designed, among other things, the JAWS and King Kong attractions at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and that he is vice president of attractions design. The article makes no mention of his views on the age of the planet or the historicity of the Genesis account(s) of Creation. I suppose we’re intended to take it as read that he subscribes to the beliefs of his employer.

That’s a bit unsatisfying, journalistically speaking. IMHO.

During the flood, King Kong fell off the top of the mast into the water during a storm, so Jaws ate King Kong, but once the flood waters receded, Jaws was a fish out of water and died. That’s why neither King Kong nor Jaws are mentioned in the bible.
