Maybe, like: “Article makes good points about Sen McCain’s failings, but wishing death on someone not cool. Better McCain voted out.” 118 characters. Harder to misconstrue intent. But I suspect she was perfectly fine with the sentiment of the tweet. ---

[PPP poll](http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2017/PPP_Release_National_71817.pdf) (warning: PDF) released today shows that 55% of those who report having voted for Trump in 2016 say that they do not believe Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer to get dirt on Hillary Clinton (page 14) or aren’t sure. This despite Donald Trump Jr. claiming that he met with a Russian lawyer to get dirt on Hillary Clinton. Also of note: 45% of Trump voters who say they would approve of his job performance if he shot someone on 5th Avenue (page 19). ---
