[Not technically a stupid idea, but John McCain has an aggressive form of brain cancer.](http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2017/07/19/sen_john_mccain_diagnosed_with_aggressive_form_of_brain_tumor.html) Kinda wish it was someone in a more competitive state. If it were, say, Marco Rubio, then we could dream about getting just that little bit closer to fixing the senate. As is, we’ll probably just get a fucking Trumpist in the place of one of the more reasonable republicans (oh _god_ what a low fucking bar that is). ---

The implied connection to lutefisk is illogical. Lutefisk does not cause insanity, you have to be crazy to eat it in the first place. I have seen it, and smelled it first hand, and I would rather eat ten raw catfish straight from the Brazos River. Most likely survive that. ---
