I would argue that the victory of Danica Roem over Bob Marshall in VA at the very least rivals the NJ Freeholder one. Ms. Roem is a trans woman and Bob Marshall is the author of VA’s Bathroom Bill. He spent the entire campaign refusing to debate her and refusing to properly gender her with his pronouns and titles, and she beat him flat. ---

Jerry Falwell, Jr. thinks that the Virginia victories were due to federal employees living in Northern Virginia, and wants Northern Virginia to be split off from the rest of the state and given to District of Columbia. “DC should annex NOVA and return the governance of VA to Virginians!
