I tried to see how old Mrs Moore is (married in 1985, apparently) - but can’t find anything other than she was a semi-successful beauty pageant participant. She looks younger, but hard to tell how much. ---

OK, per Slate, Mrs Moore is 14 years younger than Roy. Born in '47, married in '85, so he was 38 and she was 24, so he started fishing in a more age appropriate pond. ---

Hannity et al. are spinning the Moore sexual involvement with 16-18 year olds as “Hey, it was consensual!”, as if that makes a thirty-something guy hitting on high schoolers any less pervy. They are, however, having a harder time reconciling the issue of the victim who was **14** when Moore (aged 32) allegedly engaged in “sexual activity” with her. Some Republicans are already suggesting that maybe Moore ought to stand aside. Yeah, good luck with that one, guys. ---

We’re seeing a major, major contrast between how executives in the media and entertainment fields are handling sexual assaults and how the GOP party is. The contrast couldn’t be clearer. There’s a difference between the GOP and Democrats, too. You didn’t see Democrats coming up with tortured explanations on behalf of Anthony Weiner and yet here are the GOP mouthpieces doing just that. It’s unbelievable. ---

Well, [Roy Moore’s brother](http://therightscoop.com/roy-moores-brother-defends-him-to-the-hilt/) says _… “that his brother is being persecuted, in his own words, like Jesus Christ was” …_ and that the allegations are originating from a Democratic Party hit squad, and that it makes him sad how this must be hurting their 91-y/o mother. But, is he implying that Jesus was crucified for being a pedo? I mean, after all, Jesus did say _suffer the young children to come into me_.
