And not all of those people are on your side. On the macro side, this is hogwash. There isn’t any threat of some sudden Maoist uprising on the left. On the micro side, hey, it’s the way it works. You preach violence, some of the people you talk about killing are going to want to strike first. ---

Remember Rep. Doug Lamborn? He’s best known for referring to Obama as a “Tar Baby” and trying to get Generals to resign in protest of Obama’s policies (search this thread; there were discussions of both points). Well, Dougie is now suing to try and get on the Republican ballot to retain his job. He’s contending that the requirement for signature gatherers to reside in the state somehow violates First Amendment freedom of association. It smacks of desperate flailing to me. ---
