While DeVos is slime and wholly unfit for her position as Secretary of Education, I agree with her. The Department of Education should not be studying firearms nor proposing firearm policy any further than “No Firearms on School Property”. Leahy is wrong; it is up to Congress to come up with policy, not a school safety commission. The school safety commission needs to plan on what to do when guns are introduced into the equation. As for the commission’s purpose as written up by the WH, I take any-and-everything out of the WH with a grain of salt. The top tiers of the entire Executive Branch of our government don’t know their asses from their elbows…probably because they are all ass. ---

Because being the victim of targeted harassment and psychological and physical abuse builds character, apparently. Not that I expect DeVos to make any headway on these issues, mind you. ---

I have worked alongside people who _worked extremely hard_ at their assignments and ended up doing them badly, while the people who were more casual in their efforts tended to produce good results. And, really, the truth is the easiest, most straightforward thing – it takes hugely less effort than baking up some kind of bullshit and then trying to convince everyone about how good it smells. ---

The thing is, Melania has to know from first-hand experience just how credible her husband is; I mean, none of us live with him, but we know that nothing he says can be trusted.
