Aside from being baffled about what Scott Walker would have to do with this, I would say the operative part is that she was appointed by a Republican and then started bulldozing anything that was in the way of revenue. Republicans are assholes, who hire assholes to effect their assholery. That a Republican also had to fire her just means they got caught being indefensible assholes. ---

There was some kind of scandal there, too, but I haven’t found what that was. ---

Do these idiots even know what “revaluation” of a currency means? It’s real simple: Someone in power says “The dinar is too small to be practical. Henceforth, one New Dinar is worth 1000 Old Dinar.”. And so anyone who spent a thousand dollars to buy a million Old Dinar now has a thousand New Dinar, which are still worth only a thousand dollars. Currencies can change their inherent value, too. But the sign of a healthy currency is not that it increases dramatically in value: The sign of a healthy currency is that it stays stable, wherever it is. So if Trump were to work some magic to make the Iraqi economy great again, that would _guarantee_ that an investment in dinars wouldn’t grow. ---

Yeah. It’s like, I’m sure there is a Democratic version of Donald Trump somewhere, but that person is writing manifestos on Youtube comment sections, and not in the White House. There is simply no equivalence between the two parties with regard to their loony extremes. The left’s loony extreme is marginalized while the right’s is now the party itself. ---

The lame duck Republican-controlled House has issued subpoenas for James Comey and Loretta Lynch to ask them whatever stupid questions they think they should be asked, in private. Comey said “ask me whatever you want, but I will only participate if the hearing is public.” Lynch has yet to respond. The same lame duck Republican-controlled House has said they’re going to investigate the Clinton Foundation. ---

If there were anything, it would long been out there, but they can recycle the same set of crapola and look! Hillary and Comey are being investigated! People are saying they might go to jail! Anything to yank his attention away from ordering Justice to prosecute someone. In terms of impeachment, that’s Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick. ---

Kentucky governor, Matt Bevin, had his earlier plans for Medicaid (work/education/volunteer requirements) blocked by court order. The courts found that the changes that he wanted were not in agreement with the federal requirements. Undaunted, he has resubmitted the bill for approval. Without making any substantive changes to his original submission.
