On the other hand, had we had this legislation earlier Rosanne Barr would be in jail for life. So there’s that to recommend it. ---

This is what gets me about “States’ Rights”. The closer you move to the local level the more insane things become. That is true both of conservative areas and of places like San Francisco that seriously considered banning circumcision. Thank goodness we have the Bill of Rights and a broad interpretation of it. ---

My favourite so far is “The Santorum Snowball Effect”. Somewhere out there a whole slew of headline writers are giggling a lot and really hoping the old guys in charge never find out about Urban Dictionary. ---

Sadly, she’d have actually only been fined a whole $25 (ouch, don’t make it hurt so bad, repubs! :rolleyes: ). On the other hand, the cost to the schools to maintain the fucking audio recordings and field and handle complaints could be significant. But what the fuck do they care, so long as they get to dictate everybody else’s lives. ---

Well, her right arm is probably also resting on the groom’s shoulders, and the alignment is pretty straight, so depending on the degree of deflection off her left humerus, she might take a hit in her right humerus as well. Potential bilateral above-elbow amputation… yikes. How will she cook her husband’s meals then, as God intended? ---
