Seductive reasoning is when girls have to pole dance to pay their way through their philosophy PhD, right ?

Liberty Counsel, which SPLC has called a hate group, is representing Kentucky homophobe former county clerk Kim Davis. An appeals court has ruled that she has to pay the attorney’s fees for four gay couples who had sued her over her refusal to grant them marriage licenses. The Liberty Counsel is begging for money, say she, and they, don’t have the money to pay.

Devin Nunes’ lawsuit against Twitter and three Twitter users for being mean to him is being held in Richmond, Virginia. His attorney argued that Twitter and the users were involved in “an orchestrated defamation campaign of stunning breadth and scope, one that no human being should ever have to bear and suffer in their whole life.” Nunes’ lawyer said that Twitter allowing the parody accounts to exist was equivalent to negligently giving them a gun.

So in other words, he’s saying that it’s the inalienable and God-given right of all Americans to have Devin Nunes parody twitters, and the only thing that stops a bad Devin Nunes is good guy with a Devin Nunes parody account.

Right?

No, I actually think the cuckold thing is the more likely scenario here considering we already know that Cohen fixed the issue of picture’s of [Falwell’s wife](https://talkingpointsmemo.com/fivepoints/jerry-falwell-michael-cohen-photos).

Let’s see if I can remember the rantings of my Evangelical relatives well enough –

[ul]
[li]If it’s a same-sex affair, that’s the temptation of Satan imposing anti-Christian values in order to corrupt young people. Everyone involved is engaged in an “unnatural lifestyle.”[/li][li]If it’s an opposite-sex affair, that brazen hussy is clearly the one at fault for luring the innocent Christian man into sin with her evil, lustful ways. If she had just stayed in the kitchen where she belonged, the good Christian man would have remained at his obedient wife’s side.[/li][/ul]

Okay, let’s break this down:

1. It’s “blithe and bonney and good gay stuff” to other gay people (maybe, could still be icky depending on the participants, but it’s a value call rather than a judgement call).
2. It’s just regular gay stuff to people who aren’t gay, but also aren’t complete assholes.
3. It’s “icky gay stuff” to people who are gay, but are desperately trying to not let anybody know that. “See, I called it ‘icky’! That means I can’t possibly be dreaming of being the meat in that hot sweaty man sandwich! No, no, that’s just my phone in my pocket.”
3a. It could also be “icky gay stuff” to people who aren’t gay, but just generally hate all people including themselves. For them, anything is bad, the gay part is just icing on the cake.
