I rather imagine that the first impetus would have come in a midnight conversation with Godfather Vlad — probably over the backchannel that doesn’t exist — but I can definitely see the second. I can’t figure out why people get angry about soy milk (or arugula). We’ve got trillion dollars deficits to fund tax cuts for billionaires which will cost us all our Social Security and Medicare benefits in the long run, and people are pissed about _soy_? Is almond milk ok? Seaweed chips? If I go vegetarian for my own health but don’t flaunt it, is that ok too, or is such an expression of liberty simply beyond the pale? 😕 ---

Thus the pejorative “soy boy” used by incels and other whacko right wingers to attempt to criticize liberals. ---

Hm, I will have to look into that. I am perhaps unusually athletic for an internet poster, so I doubt it. But still, same question: we’re hating people for their hormones now? What happened to liberty? But I guess when Jesus mandated strict gender roles, that extended to a certain ppm of testosterone v estrogen. Crossing that line is evil on a level of eating shellfish or mixing wool and linen I suppose. Still, what happened to liberty? Why can’t rednecks concern themselves with real problems? I’m wasting my time, aren’t I? ---
