(As an aside, this funny yet terminally annoying constant refrain of “current event is equivalent with Historical Signifier of Import X” makes me seriously reconsider all the Roman & Greek references to Alexander the Great some three centuries post factum. That shit must have been _so_ tiresome for _so_ long…) ---

Not all radio shows use a broadcast delay. Even when they do use it the guy with the button is listening for profanity…usually from call-ins or guests as the broadcasters usually know better. They were unlikely to bleep this. ---

The sheer derangement and depravity of today’s Republicans makes me want to react fiercely in the GD and Elections thread when some moron suggests that today’s “conservatives” are human beings entitled to their opinions.
