Nitpick: He was suspended for 91 days, not disbarred. The importance of 91 days is huge, though: if you’re suspended more than 90, you have to be re-admitted to the bar (a new background check, which is a huge pain in the ass, since they go through your history with a fine toothed comb). Of course, the article reports that he’s also been given a concurrent 1 year suspension, so he probably needs to find a new line of work anyway. ---

Good things do occassionally happen. ---

Aside: Am I the only one tired of news stories beating around the bush? If the story is someone saying something offensive, then quote them. Let everyone know _exactly_ what they said. Don’t just mumble-mumble about “He used a term derogatory to…”. Especially when the defense is “that word used to mean something else”.
