A “Q” level clearance isn’t such a big thing anyway, if it’s the same as the “Q” clearance I once had. I worked at a secure government facility in the 1970’s, with a thousand-or-so employees and we all had to have a security clearance to work there. The “Q” clearance seemed to be the standard basic level of clearance for the masses, that everyone there had. I think there were higher levels of clearance for some of the really sensitive stuff.

…which again, not surprising that the Qanon idiots think it’s better than it is. This has been explained to them before, but I’m sure most people here know how well explaining things to idiots usually goes.

That’s how I’ve always pronounced it.

Rumor is that Q is Dan Scavino, Trump’s former golf caddy turned White House social media director.

How [DARE](https://www.mediamatters.org/donald-trump/right-wing-pundits-demand-pelosis-arrest-after-she-tears-trumps-speech) Nancy tears up that patriotic SOTU speech!

>
> A majority of the complaints — which came from people like conservative radio host and QAnon conspiracy theorist Bill Mitchell, Carl Higbie, and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, among others— focus on an alleged violation of federal criminal law regarding the destruction of specific government documents.

Scroll about ten tweets down to Susan Hennessy’s tweet - I like the politico article she linked about the delegated “tearer-uppers” trying to cover for President What Rex Called Me.

It is pronounced “前嫌” (typically romanized as “_qian xian_”), which means something like resentment/grudge.

'Tapers" are deadheads with recording equipment. They can also be angles on machine shop stuff.

Not even that. [Q clearance](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_clearance) is issued by the DOE and deals with atomic stuff, both the kind that goes bang and the kind that generates electricity. While a person with Q clearance also has also Top Secret Compartmented information clearance – the level I had in the Navy – he or she would have no more access to the stuff I knew than I would to the innards of the latest hydrogen bomb. Clearance does not confer access carte blanche to everything. As always that is on a need to know basis.

Well of course. Rich people are leaders and innovators and job creators and are therefore responsible when things go well, but not when things go wrong. That’s just common sense.
