An anti-vaxxer tore down caution tape around a park in Idaho so her friends could play despite a shutdown. A cop showed up and told her she was going to have to leave. She whined about paying taxes, then put her hands behind her back and demanded he arrest her. So he did. Now Ammon Bundy is organizing protests outside of the cop’s house.

[There’s More To Know About The Video Of A Mother Arrested On A Playground For Violating Stay-At-Home Orders](https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/lesterfeder/coronavirus-sara-walton-brady-video)

> [@](#):
>
> But the mother, 40-year-old Sara Walton Brady, wasn’t on the playground simply so her kids could play. Brady is an anti-vaccine activist with connections to several far-right groups in Idaho, and she was participating in an organized protest on Tuesday against the governor’s stay-at-home order. A group of people removed police caution tape to enter the closed playground, the Idaho Statesman reported, and Brady refused police requests to leave before she was arrested.
>
> Brady was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and released later on Tuesday, the Idaho Statesman reported. Meridian police did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Brady could not be reached for comment.
>
> “I didn’t wake up today thinking, I’m taking my kids to the park to get arrested — but when tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty!” Brady said to supporters following her release. “We have a duty to stand up to tyranny, or we’re gonna lose our republic.”

> [@](#):
>
> This protest, which was livestreamed on Facebook, was a follow-up to a large rally against stay-at-home restrictions organized by a coalition of radical groups. They include the anti-vaccine group Health Freedom Alliance, the gun rights group Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, and the Idaho Freedom Foundation, a far-right group that wields significant power in the state.

DON’T let them control the narrative; they tell lies.

[_Idaho Statesman_ article here](https://www.idahostatesman.com/living/health-fitness/article242188766.html).

> [@](#):
>
> According to a police press release, officers on Tuesday night responded after several calls were made to dispatch. Officers then informed those gathered that the playground structure was closed and that they were welcome to utilize open areas of the park.
>
> After the arrest of Brady, police cordoned off the playground again with caution tape, signifying its closure. Video on Facebook showed some people taking that tape down as well.
>
> Police said metal signage showing that the playground was closed also was removed.
>
> “These are very trying times, and the Meridian Police Department supports the public’s right to assemble for peaceful protest. However, the right does not include damaging public property or ignoring closures of city property and facilities,” the police press release said on Tuesday.

But how are states to send people back to work in a safe way that doesn’t endanger public health? Moore offered a bit of an … out of the box … suggestion.
>
> “I was thinking this morning, and this is just kind of a thought experiment because I was thinking about this — why don’t we just put everybody in a space outfit or something like that?” Moore asked. “No. Seriously.”…

That’s a heck of plan. We’re out of masks, but I’m certain there is a stockpile of 165 million or so hazmat suits in the FEMA warehouse that can be distributed.

Not hazmat suits, _space_ suits. You know, the ones that run about [$12-million](https://www.quora.com/How-much-does-a-spacesuit-cost) apiece.

I don’t think that I’d be all that surprised if that were true. I’m of the belief that when this settles down, we will discover warehouses with millions of unused N95 masks.

I’m generally not in favor of cops overreacting and shooting unarmed citizens, but I’m willing to make an exception in cases like this.
