It seems like the people of Arizona woke up a couple of years ago and decided that they just couldn’t bear to be less retarded than Florida and Texas, so they were going to put in a wholehearted effort to get to #1. ---

This isn’t quite “of the day,” and probably minor, but I’m a bit nauseated (extreme eye-rolling) and wanted to share. I needed to pull up the text from Agenda 21 (a 1992 output from the Rio Conference/Earth Summit). I can’t find it locally at the moment, so I figured a quick Google search on _agenda 21 text_ would be easy. The UN servers are down for maintenance at the moment, so I scan alternates … and the sixth hit— **the sixth fucking hit** —is to a barely populated New Mexico tea party forum. Yeah, one of _those_ forums that marvels at how great the media is at finding some celebrity news but not Obama’s peers at Columbia, etc. (insert birther crap here). Whatever.
