Well, it turns out the Republicans were right - voter fraud, and people voting in the name of dead people, is something that’s been happening for years after all. Oo! Oo! Here’s a good one! A Tennessee state representative forwarded an email to his constituents that says [Obama is planning to stage a fake assassination attempt on himself, in collusion with the Department of Homeland Security, in a bid to stop the November elections!](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/31/kelly-keisling-tennessee-obama-rumor_n_1725053.html):eek::eek::eek::eek: He’s apologized, of course, saying that the message was inappropriate for distribution and he’s going to be more careful about the information his office distributes. He’s apparently told a constituent in an email exchange that he thought the rumour was ridiculous but wouldn’t put anything past anyone. I haven’t found that he’s given this opinion officially, though. ---
