Ah, one of those he-said-he-said things. Let’s see, who is more credible? Tom Ricks has won two Pulitzer Prizes for his journalism, and Michael Clemente is allegedly an Executive Vice President for Fox News.

Gives back the money to set up the exchanges::smack:
“Last year, she accepted $54 million from the federal government to set up an exchange, an online insurance marketplace under the Affordable Care Act. She later rejected the money under pressure from Republican colleagues.”

Why did she accept it in the first place? It would save Oklahoma taxpayers money.

Now she won’t release the emails involving the [del]deliberative process[/del] backroom backstabing in spite of the Open Records Act:

“In response to a records request from _The Oklahoman_, Fallin’s general counsel, Steve Mullins, said these emails involve the governor’s deliberative process and won’t be released.”

Which is BS:

“A 2009 opinion from the Oklahoma attorney general’s office indicates emails generated while conducting the public’s business are open to the public:
“Emails, text messages, and other electronic communications made or received in connection with the transaction of public business, the expenditure of public funds or the administration of public property, are subject to the Oklahoma Open Records Act.”
Similar rulings have been made in Pennsylvania, Iowa, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina and California, and elsewhere.”

The best part is that these teabagger governors are actually thereby putting the dang fedral gummint in charge of something that the Obamacare bill assigns to the states - while simultaneously procraiming states’ rights and decrying creeping socialism. :smack:
When Mr. Ricks ignored the anchor’s question, it became clear that his goal was to bring attention to himself – and his book
Tom Ricks was on for 1 minute and 17 seconds. 8 seconds of that was an introduction of Ricks (or 10% of the total air time) in which the host mentions his book. They also put an infographic telling that Ricks is the author of The Generals for 10 seconds. Yet never once did Ricks himself mention or refer to his book.

But maybe Ricks was ignoring the anchor’s question. If only there was some way for a journalist to follow up a response with a related question. It’s too bad that hasn’t yet been invented for I would coin the term “up-follow interrobang”

It’s worse than that – Clemente said, “He [Ricks] apologized in our offices afterward but doesn’t have the strength of character to do that publicly.”

This sort of chicken-shit accusation of chickenshittery is the sort of thing that led to pistols at dawn not so long ago.

Hey now, be fair; I’m sure all the old white men are thinking really hard about how they can appeal to young, minority, and women voters.

Now, be fair. As Romney said, all those women can’t be chairs because they have to get home by 6 to cook dinner for their husbands.

Ooh, another “family values” Republican from Tennessee in the news. Let’s play a game. Has he:

A) Been caught doing drugs?
B) Been caught having sex with another woman?
C) Been caught having sex with another man?
D) Been arrested for beating his wife?
E) All of the above?

And the answer is…
[…D](http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2238978/Republican-Congressional-candidate-family-matters-conservative-arrested-slapping-wife-weeks-losing-election.html?ito=feeds-newsxml).

At least he’s not known for, say, doing stupid things with firearms. Oh wait…

Well, this thread does get a lot more entertaining if you can imagine the respective Republicans saying “Did I do that?” in an Urkel voice.
