After months to prepare for their big scene, Republicans were used as a wet rag by Hillary Clinton in the Senate hearings on Benghazi this morning. Clinton, with nothing to lose, rubbed their noses in the dirt and stole their lunch money. After seeing their colleagues get abused, Senators quit asking questions and just started making speeches instead. Senators McCain and Rand Paul were the worst offenders. Sen. Paul showed off his mastery of Foreign Affairs by criticizing the State Department for sending a comedy group to India. The name of the show? Make chai, not war. Only Mr. Paul pronounced it “Make chee…” This afternoon (2PM Eastern) comes the second string from the House, featuring such luminaries as Dana Rohrbacher, Joe “You lie!” Wilson, and Steve Stockman of Texas. Well, he can try, but what he’s suggesting is that exposing to public scrutiny the existence of attempts to help the LGBT community would shame the agencies involved. But if the agencies aren’t ashamed of it, then there really is no “power of humiliation.” ---

Above the article titled “ **Republican House Leader Vows To Use ‘Power Of Humiliation’ To Undermine LGBT Program** ” we get links to stories titled “ **Conservative Claim: Gays ‘Are Already Treated Equally’** ” and “ **Conservative Claim: LGBT Students Don’t Need Bullying Protection** ”. I realize that they’re not all the same conservative but still. ---
