I wonder if the GOP will take up this line in defense of Cruz: “[It’s Time to See Joe McCarthy For the Hero He Was](http://townhall.com/columnists/dianawest/2013/02/25/its-time-to-see-joe-mccarthy-for-the-hero-he-was-n1517669)” And yes, that’s the title of the article, not my paraphrase. ---

As a child, I had a bacon sandwich and a slice of pecan pie. Been pretty much downhill from there. ---

It may have taken 8,789 posts but someone finally made a decent defense of republicans in this thread. They almost assuredly would not try to outlaw bacon. Thank you for setting the record straight on this matter. ---
