I agree. Whatever his flaws, GHWB definitely was (and is) _not_ of low intelligence. I actually think he was an underrated president in some ways.

That was my reaction. But it appear to be real all right, unless it’s an elaborate hoax and Poe’s law at work

Warning there is some Olympic level crazy there as well as hard on the eyes typewriter font.

Interestingly this apparently is not the first Fox Boycott, as there are mentions in the rant comparing their results to a previous Fox boycott.

I think that one might have had to do with [Fox’s “unfair” treatment of Palin](http://www.inquisitr.com/7566/conservatives-call-for-fox-news-boycott-over-palin-treatment/)

Well there’s this:

[Poll: Plurality of Republicans believe Supreme Court is liberal.](http://www.people-press.org/files/legacy-pdf/3-25-13%20Supreme%20Court%20Release.pdf)

45% of Conservatives believe the court is liberal while 39% believe it’s middle of the road.

I’m guessing this is mainly because of the Obamacare decision, but come on, you have to have absolutely no knowledge of the Supreme Court to believe it’s liberal.

AFAICT, Stevens was allowed to die quickly because he was a liberal. Were he conservative, Obama would have ordered his terrorist allies to invite him to a banquet, with living intestines stripped and braised. Served with capers and couscous rice – Yummy!

Now, [another drop](http://tv.msnbc.com/2013/03/25/evangelical-leader-same-sex-marriage-polls-are-skewed/) from the flood of derpitude:

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked Bauer to weigh in on the result of the Washington Post-ABC News poll out last week showed that showed 58% of Americans feel that gay marriage should be legal, with 36% saying it should be illegal.
>
> “Do you worry that this only puts the Republican Party further out of touch with the mainstream of American voters?” Wallace asked.

Well, he is perfectly right on that. The polls are skewed by bad methodology that allows them to ask the opinion of people who disagree with his position. If the polls only talked to “real Americans” who think exactly like Gary Bauer, you would see how right he was!

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito complains, “Justicing is _hard_.”

“There isn’t a lot of data about its effect. And it may turn out to be a good thing; it may turn out not to be a good thing, as the supporters of Proposition 8 apparently believe. But you want us to step in and render a decision based on an assessment of the effects of this institution which is newer than cell phones or the Internet? I mean we — we are not — we do not have the ability to see the future.”

Yeah, I thought that was particularly ball-less of him. A disgrace.

I could understand if he suggested the issue was legally difficult or complicated, but he didn’t. He’s basically whining that he’s afraid of boogeymen that will come get him if he decides the law incorrectly. Man up.

Well, it’s worse than that. The whole purpose of the Supreme Court is to rule on the constitutionality of laws, and most of the time, it’s going to be dealing with laws that were enacted relatively recently, and certainly after the invention of cell phones.

So he’s basically saying he doesn’t want to do his job.
