BTW, when you follow the links from Media Matters regarding the estimates, one can see that they are pointing at estimated operation costs that \*\*only \*\*Air Force One incurred by going to the Bush ranch and other vacation places. The source of those estimates? The “socialist” and “unreliable” US Air Force. It is simple logic that \*\*\*if \*\*\*we add other costs that the rag fudrucker quoted \*\*assumes \*\* that they should be included, then the costs of the trips under Bush would balloon way over what the \*_conservative_ \*\*estimate offered by Media Matters mentioned. \*Once again, a **conservative** estimate of what Bush’s costs were, because as even the Daily kos article shows, this is referring to simple math and **concentrating only with the costs of the use of AF1** and the distance. ---

Um, people, if you take a look at the [only other thing **fudrucker** ’s done around here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=692844) since he joined up yesterday, it’s pretty clear that he’s just attention-trolling. I mean, come on, who signs up to a messageboard in order to immediately start a discussion about the diarrhea attack he suffered all over his bedroom floor and then complain because the President doesn’t fly in the same plane with his family? Trolls, that’s who. ---

Do you get, like, points or bitcoins or something every time you mention the word “socialist”? Because not only does repeating the word not constitute any argument but it also conclusively demonstrates that you don’t have the slightest idea what "socialist " means. Hint: it doesn’t mean “anything I don’t like”. See also: Marxist, fascist, liberal, etc. ---
