Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX) has a rather despicable thing to say about atheists in our military. Theists’ embrace of God’s love prevents them from ever making such cruel and heartless remarks, thankfully. For instance, you’ve never heard of a fundamentalist Christian telling the families of dead servicemembers that their sons were in Hell, have you? [Oops. Rather, Conaway’s imaginary foot-eating atheist would just be making a very insensitive and unkind remark about the consequences of death. ---
