And I do know a fair bit about it. Yeah, even a tiny bit of research would have told him that many for-profit health insurance companies offer reduced premiums for clients who get physicals. They obviously think regular physicals reduce overall costs. ---

So is this the 10,000th post in this thread? Whee! Off topic, not even a tangent, and I don’t care. I’m not even a part of this conversation! But, um, people who self-identify as republicans or democrats are stupid. I’m hesitant to self-identify as American most days…what with all the stupidity associated with Americans. Republicans have shown themselves to be a bit more stupid lately…that’s for sure. And with that, I’m out. ---

I don’t see anyone saying that a few simple changes will fix everything (I’m certainly not saying it), just that it works for other types of insurance, might make things a little better, and isn’t completely stupid. ---

Beating off or not, it was an amazing display of vapidness. Benchmark shmenchmark, popping into a thread to say absolutely nothing other than to insult oneself is pretty telling about the poster. I browse Reddit a lot and see similarly baffling things there–people reposting other’s work and whatnot over “karma.” Good use of the ignore feature. ---
