It’s prolly not the single stupidest Republican idea of the day, but it’s definitely a stupid Republican idea: a poster on a message board thought it would be a good idea to try and blame the Democratic-controlled Senate for the government shutdown, even tho the evidence suggests it’s clearly not their fault. Encountered a new one on facebook today. Well, old, but new to me. When I pointed out to him that Snopes called bullshit, he responded in typical conservative fashion: Snopes is shilling. Then he linked the bill. Yesterday, overwhelming public interest in signing up for Obamacare resulted in some websites glitching or temporarily shutting down. **Kobal** , you should know that the aforementioned ‘git with a flaming sword’ isn’t wielding just any old flaming sword. That is a +5 Flaming Sword of Selfrighteousness. And I am pretty sure that an Archangel has a +1 or better to hit defense modification. … These are the kind of days that only political commentary writers can love.
