As a non 'Merkin - when I look at this sort of crap, I can’t help but wish for some sort of “Accuracy in the Media” law - something with teeth that holds news outlets to a higher standard of truth (i.e its easier to sure them for libel / defamation) than the general public. Would love to see 'Bams take a suit against them for defamation of character ---

Sadly, I could easily see such laws being exploited by wealthy individuals and large corporations to keep “the wrong” news out of the public eye. Probably why there aren’t any, aside from the First Amendment issues. ---
