Yes, but look at the WAY he generates revenue. I mean, we’re running out of tv hours for him to put crappy competition shows. Still, a sacrifice we’re willing to make for our English friends - all you have to do is give up 2 hours of radio and an hour of tv every weekday. Seems like you’re getting the better of the bargain if you ask me. ---

I don’t normally have a dog in this fight, but this kind of stuff scares me when it comes from a person on the streets; hearing it from a government representative is downright mortifying. Now what’s pretty clear is that this is not sane. This is a stance that could be held verbatim by the insane leader of some suicide cult. Interpreted charitably, perhaps she was just pandering to the listenership of the radio program—i.e. perhaps she was simply lying. But in no sense is this something that could be said by anybody fit for government. ---

They need everyone to believe that the House=President in the ranking of things instead of House=Senate. See, that way (excluding the USSC and believe me, they’d love to exclude the USSC) they (and you can see Terr doing this in other threads) can say, “BUT WE CONTROL 1/3 OF GOVERNMENT!” As opposed to “WE CONTROL 1/2 of 1/2 OF GOVERNMENT”. It’s a power play against the Executive. ---

I’m thinking Ann Coulter as Alice, Sean Hannity as the White Rabbit, Richard Littlejohn as the Caterpillar, Glenn Beck as the Mad Hatter, Jeremy Clarkson as the Cheshire Cat and a CGI Margaret Thatcher as the Queen of Hearts (“Off with their benefits!”).
