Leave them to starve for long enough, I’m sure they’ll develop stomach cancer or some other fun malady. And the best part? The stomach cancer fills up his stomach so the six year old doesn’t go hungry! You don’t have to waste anything for the stupid kid. More spaghetti for everyone else! ---

I’m just astonished at how he has avoided, in every way, saying that he thinks appropriate public policy is to let poor kids die. It’s this inability to confront the real life ramifications of their political preferences that annoy me about many conservatives. Instead we get a thread in Great Debates called “Why the idea that fiscal conservatives hate poor people?” This is why. ---

I don’t know if he’s a conservative or not, but he’s mighty unpleasant. Personally I don’t see how mandating educating children does not fall squarely under promoting the general welfare as per spec, but I’m less unpleasant than him. ---

Adding to the list of stupid republican ideas and outright lies we have: Newt Gingrich explaining Richard Reed(the shoe bomber) was different then Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab(the underpants bomber) because he was an American citizen. Screw truth if the facts don’t fit there talking points they’ll make up history to justify it. ---

I thought Canada was the 51st state? Must have been another liberal lie. Actually, I think it’s just because they can’t quite grasp that other countries speak English. So anyone who speaks it as their primary language must be American. ---
