The thread topic deserves real beef: [The _Atlantic_ has an interesting article “What If Rand Paul Were a Woman?”](http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/11/what-if-rand-paul-were-a-woman/281258/) suggesting the junior senator from Kentucky gets a pass on his stupidities because he’s male. If she were a woman, the debate would focus on the dichotomy “Pretty vs. Pretty Dumb.” ---

When we lived there all three people running for Agriculture Commissioner were either convicted felons or were awaiting trial. Jindal is just trying to blend in. ---

Well if Bush wants to use some _enhanced_ techniques for converting Jews, and let’s face it, his administration PIONEERED enhanced interrogation techniques (cough)waterboarding(cough) then I know of [some Jews who have the experience and the skills to help him out](http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/rabbis-accused-of-kidnapping-and-torturing-reluctant-orthodox-husbands-who-refuse-divorce-8874702.html) with his _enhancements_.
