And I thought Broun, with his claim that evolution was a lie from the pit of hell, was bad. The candidates I voted for are not so likely to win, but at least I won’t feel like apologizing for them every time they open their mouths. ---

I don’t understand the outrage over the VA controversy. Patients with the VA know it can take six months to get an appointment, so they haven’t been deceived. It’s just that the VA makes it look on paper like it only takes 14 days, but that’s just on paper. The VA doesn’t tell vets their appt. will be in 14 days. ---

Three of the four Republican candidates for Governor of Colorado held a “[debate](http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/05/22/1301241/-Newest-Republican-effort-to-appeal-to-women-voters-reaches-killer-clown-levels-of-terrifying?detail=facebook)” labeled “Women and Colorado’s Future”. The moderator (whose name isn’t mentioned in this report) said it would be like The Dating Game, in that a panel of four women would ask questions of the candidates. The Dating Game theme song was played, and the moderator suggested that the four women on the panel come up on the stage “It’s so much more ornamental if the four of you would be on the stage with the four of us.” ---
