Dunno if this is from a registered Republican but it comes close to the very definition of “weapons grade stupid” so I’m posting this. While searching the lower end of the dial for an NPR station I stopped for a second on a station featuring a news reader, who I immediately recognized as a conservative religious broadcaster due to his imitation of Rush, but before I could change the dial he mentioned something about poll numbers about the popularity of “so-called ‘homosexual marriage’”. Weapons-grade stupid, because it has almost the highest concentration of stupid possible. No combination of these three words makes any sense at all. “So-called marriage”? Marriages don’t cease to be marriages just because you say so. “homosexual marriage”? You don’t have to be gay to marry someone of the same sex. “So-called ‘homosexual marriage’”? **So-called**? Who the hell calls it ‘homosexual marriage’? ---
