Old Penis Brie Cure, or as Colbert called him, Penis Rice-a-Roni [not an actual anagram]. I could never understand his re-election/appointment. Steele had a few judgement lapses but the party gained seats under him. Other than that black thing, he had/has more on the ball and is mmuuuucccchhhhh more entertaining. ---

I don’t believe this counts as a stupid republican idea of the day, except perhaps obliquely. This is exactly what The Daily Show does (except TDS is actually clever). It’s dumb and juvenile, but it’s clearly an attempt at satire. ---

The _O’Reilly Factor_ is produced and broadcast exclusively for Fox News. But yes, Watters’ segments on the show are supposed to be “satirical”. Pretty sure no _Daily Show_ correspondent has been cited for trespassing, though. ---

Isn’t Watters the dude O’Reilly uses to stalk and harass people under pretext of conducting ambush “interviews”? I could swear I heard about him doing something really, painfully ugly a few years ago. My google-fu doesn’t seem up to finding out what it was, though. ---

That article about Watters is cringe worthy on multiple levels. The Daily Show made Steele into a muppet. And he at least had the balls to talk to Jon Stewart face-to-face. The closest thing Priebus has to balls is that he is kind of nuts. And from what I can tell he has less personality than Scott Walker, which is a feat unto itself.
